What video file formats can I upload?

You can upload just about any video file format. Note that your Android phone makes 3GP and MP4 files, while your iPhone and iPad2 makes .mov files. These files will work as-is from your phone. Simply dump the files to your desktop computer, and upload directly to our site.

Of course, we can handle these formats, too: 3G2, 3GP, ASF (streaming for Windows Media Player), AVI, DV, FLV (VP6), MPEG, MPG (MPEG-1 and MPEG-2), WMV (Windows Media Video).

Maximum video file size is 500 MB. If video files are going to be larger than 500 MB, we highly recommend splitting them up.

What is the recommended video file format to reach smart devices (iPhone, iPad, iPod, Android, etc.)?

We recommend MP4 as the best version to upload so that your video can be seen on streaming computers but also on iPhone, iPad and other smartphones.
